Croatia's Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli has presented the government's plan for opening of the summer tourist season, which envisages that European tourists from countries with stable epidemiological situations will be able to visit the country. A tourist application is also being developed that guests will use to announce their arrival and which will enable them to cross the border faster.

The plan to open tourist facilities, devised by the Croatian Tourist Association, envisions that camps in Istria, Kvarner and Dalmatia, as well as some hotels, will be opened by the end of May, with most hotels and all other tourist services expected to open in June. Tourists will have to have a confirmation of their accommodations at the border.
