Construction up 18% in Estonia in Q3

Construction volumes in Estonia increased by 18 percent y-o-y in the third quarter, according to Statistics Estonia. The figure fell to 16 percent, however, when accounting for Estonian construction companies’ performance abroad. Construction volumes on the domestic market totaled €863m in the three-month period, with building construction accounting for €527m (up 13 percent) and civil engineering totaling €336m (up 22 percent). By comparison, Estonian companies’ production on foreign markets dropped 7 percent y-o-y.
