With unemployment falling, Serbia’s economy is expected to grow by 3.5 percent this year and by 4 percent in 2020, according to the latest forecast by the International Monetary Fund. Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said the IMF is pleased with the country’s reform progress, adding that the construction sector should help drive GDP growth. The sector grew by more than 20 percent over the last two quarters, according to news reports.
