The Czech real estate company Cimex has paid $17m for one floor of a 960 sqm apartment in Miami, Florida. The building, named One Thousand Museum, was designed by the architect Zaha Hadid and Lidové noviny writes that it was the deceased architect's first residential project in the western hemisphere. Cimex's unit is located on the 55th floor of the 215-meter, iconically shaped structure, which features a rooftop pool and a heliport. The building was completed earlier this year. In all, it offers 84 residential units, many of which are 2-level penthouses, according to Cimex director Miroslav Kosnar. Cimex has made several other investments in the United States.
