CIECH Soda developing new cogeneration gas plant in Valcea

CIECH Soda Romania is planning to build a cogeneration power plant in Valcea. The investment will go up in two phases. The first phase involves the installation of two combined cycle cogeneration plants, which will produce thermal energy for the company’s factory. The second phase will include the installation of a gas turbine and a recovery boiler with additional combustion for the production of superheated steam. CIECH Soda Romania has already secured the urban planning permit for the project. The Polish company has also submitted the environmental permit to the Agency for Environmental Protection Valcea for the development.
