The Czech developer Central Group has announced plans to redevelop the former Tesla production plant in Prague 9 into a residential zone for 1,500 flats. The company's owner Dušan Kunovský said that his staff is currently working on planning documentation for the CZK 6bn project and that construction could begin in 2021. Those plans include space for shops, services and restaurants. Kunovský added that Central Group will build a pre-school at its own expense, which it will then hand over to the municipality. The studio Loxia is working on the project's design together with Central Group's own design team. Central Group owns around one million square meters of brownfield land.
