Catalan hotel group buys Eurocity in Barcelona for €8m

A Catalan hotel group has acquired the Eurocity building located in the Olympic Village in Barcelona from insurance company Mapfre for €8m. The name of the buyer was not given. The company plans to convert the property into a hotel, according to market sources. Eurocity was built in 1992 and offers 4,800 sqm of surface area. Tasinsa advised both parties during the transaction process.
