Cagatay Kablo has opened a plant in Macedonia. The new production plant is located in the Bunardzik 1 industrial development zone. The Turkish company will manufacture cables for the automotive industry, primarily for Van Hool buses, at the location. The products will be exported around the world. Construction broke ground in 2017. The first phase of the plant covers a 7,000 sqm area. There are currently 80 people working there. Cagatay Kablo is planning to invest up to €6m in the second phase of construction, which will expand the plant to 10,000 sqm.
