Blue Projects has delivered to Portland Trust the Expo Business Park office development, which includes 3 buildings of approximately 70,500 GBA located on Expozitiei Boulevard in North-West Bucharest. The largest of them has a total surface of 20,000 sqm – representing 50% of the available space – and is leased entirely to ING Bank. The other two buildings have leasable surfaces of 14,000 sqm and 8,000 sqm respectively. They are all designed to achieve the BREEAM Excellent certification, having been constructed with materials that have a minimum environmental impact. The carbon dioxide emissions, water and energy consumption are thus reduced significantly.

Blue Projects was appointed in May 2017 to provide project and cost management, tendering, permits & approvals management, site management and health & safety services. The final handover took place at the end of 2019.

The project was one of the big winners at the 12th CIJ Gala Awards, where it won all categories in which it was nominated: Best Bucharest Stand-Alone Office Development, Best Office Lease of the Year (for ING Bank) and the Grand Prix (Project of the Year).
