Block 7 of TPP Tuzla plant on-time for November completion

Elektroprivreda BiH started preparatory works for the construction of the replacement Unit 7 in TPP Tuzla at the end of last year. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the works have not been suspended, raising hopes that the November 2020 deadline will be met. The value of the preparatory works is KM 18.9m according to an agreement with a domestic consortium between

ITC Zenica, Integral Engineering Banja Luka and Prijedor putevi. Tuzla Block 7, with a capacity of 450 MW of electricity and 270 MW of heat, is one of the largest investments in BiH. It will be built by the Chinese consortium China Gezhouba Group Company Limited Beijing (leader of the Consortium) and Gedi - Guandong Electric Power Design Institute (member of the Consortium).
