The first biomass power plant in Bosnia is scheduled to open in November. It will be located in Knezevo. The investment is valued at €5m. The plant, to be operated by Fagus, will produce electric and heat energy using biomass. Fagus initially plans to hire 30 people.
“We will produce heat and electricity at the same time, and it will be made by wood waste which is usually taken in order to have a smooth wood processing. With this, we will solve the problem of waste disposal,” said Miroslav Malijevic, owner of Fagus
