Belgrade has signed a concession agreement for the construction and operation of four new garages to help improve the parking situation in the Serbian capital. The deals cover virtually all aspects of the project, including design, financing, construction and managing the facilities. The four new garages will be built on Republic square, Students square, on the corner of Kosovska and Vlajkoviceva street and in Fruskogorska street. The contract was signed by the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic and the director of China Shandong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co. The new garages will offer a total of 3,000 parking spots in downtown Belgrade. The estimated value of the investment will be about €50m.
