The coronavirus is already damaging projects by strategic foreign investors in Montenegro, including the Porto Montenegro complex and the Lustica Bay development in Tivat. No yachts have sailed into Porto Montenegro for roughly twenty days in accordance with a ban on ships entering Montenegrin ports and marinas. All of the complex's shops, services and restaurants are closed, save for a pharmacy and a grocery store, while the Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel officially closed last week. The management team and owner of Adriatic Marinas are working to support local business partners in order to jobs and income for as many workers as possible. But there's still no clarity on what the longer-term consequences of the closures will be.
