Avignon Capital has appointed Nico Mercker-Sague to join its Berlin office as a Senior Asset Manager. This would be Avignon Capital’s first German hire, following the firm’s announcement in late-2016 that they would be opening a Berlin office, in order to create an on-the-ground German team. Nico Mercker-Sague will lead the asset management activities for Avignon’s German portfolio; this will include setting out a strategic plan for the firm’s current properties, establishing and managing strong tenant relationships and coordinating third party advisors, agents and managers. Mercker-Sague joins Avignon Capital from CBRE where he worked as a Research Analyst for the commercial real estate market and later in the Advisory & Transaction team, focusing on international and corporate clients.
