Amazon has signed a deal for 250,000 sq ft of logistics space in Star Business Park in Frisco, Texas. The park belongs to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and it's been on Amazon's radar for months, according to the Dallas News. It wrote that construction of the building is underway and quoted Hickman as saying that the digital retail giant could move in by the fall. Amazon has been expanding its presence in North Texas for some time. “We are excited to increase our investment in Texas with a new delivery station in Frisco to provide fast and efficient delivery for the community, and provide hundreds of job opportunities for the talented local workforce,” an Amazon representative wrote the Dallas News in an emailed statement. Hickman is discussing a potential deal with Landon Homes which is interested in building on other land owned by Hickman called Brinkmann Ranch.
