Abela Pharm continues spending spree with Serbian factory purchase

The Serbian pharmaceutical company Abela Pharm has purchased a production facility from the German company Stada. The facility is located in Stari Banovci near Belgrade. Abela plans to expand the plant's capacity in order to boost the company's exports both to Europe and Africa, but also to Asia. Abela Pharm currently has over 100 employees. The newly acquired factory represents an investment of €4m. Abela Pharm has been buying up equipment, production lines and new licenses over the past two years, spending €6m in the process.
