ABB opening new plant in Bulgaria

ABB will open a new plant in Petrich, southwestern Bulgaria, next week. This is the industrial company’s fifth plant in Bulgaria. Low-voltage products will be manufactured at the new 7,400 sqm plant and delivered to ABB plants in Germany and Switzerland. The Petrich plant, ABB’s second investment in the city, includes a 3,500 sqm production hall, a 1,500 sqm administration area and a 2,400 sqm logistics and distribution area. ABB will employ 420 people at the site. The investment is valued at €3.6m.
