Volksbank Wien has agreed to lease around 14,000 sqm of office space in a CA Immo building on Dietrichgasse/Haidingergasse in Vienna. The deal takes effect at the end of 2019 and will bring the 50,000 sqm building to 95 percent occupancy. During the contract negotiations, Volksbank Wien was advised by the law firm Vavrovsky Heine Marth.

Volksbank Wien's director Gerald Fleischmann said the new site gives the company " a unique opportunity to structure a new working environment in line with our precise needs. The layout of space and the equipment will provide our employees with many modern and flexible ways of working. Also, in terms of internal communication, it is very important to us that all centrally active employees of VB Wien will be working together at the same site.” The building is near the Danube Canal and the Wiener Prater recreation area and nearby residential development is bringing new life to the district. CA Immo has owned the building since 2004 with Siemens its main tenant until 2010. Following a major renovation, the post office was the anchor tenant from 2011 to 2017.
