Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki participated in a meeting with representatives of American businesses in Poland, hosted by Polish President Andrzej Duda. A strong Polish-American alliance translates into measurable benefits in many areas, according to premier.gov.pl. One of them is economic cooperation. Economic forecasts indicate that the recession in Poland, associated with the effects of the pandemic, will be the least severe among the European Union countries. This is possible thanks to the micro and macroeconomic tools activated in time by the government to fight the crisis. These measures helped save entrepreneurs and jobs. An additional support for the economy is the continuation of public investments. The Polish economy is open to new foreign investments, which can be beneficial for both sides. Morawiecki indicated that investment certainty is important. He added that the macroeconomic condition of Polish economy looks much better than most analysts estimated two or three months ago. Morawiecki encouraged American entrepreneurs to relocate part of their production and make new investments in Poland.
