Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković presented the latest the Croatian government will employ support jobs during the coronavirus crisis and its aftermath. The new measures are focused on reducing working hours, and providing support to self-employed people and to micro-entrepreneurs.

Plenković said that employers with more than 10 workers with a planned drop in revenues of at least 20 percent compared to the same month last year can reduce the number of hours their employees have to work.

Financial support will come to HRK 2,000 net per worker, with employers still obliged to pay contributions for financial support. Employment contracts can't be terminated at least 30 days after the end of the use of support.
