Českomoravská Nemovitostní (ČMN) has acquired the BLOX office building in Prague 6 - Dejvice for more than CZK 2bn. The building's primary tenant is Amazon. It's the third major transaction by CMN in the past year, having acquired the Crystal office building in June and a building on the upper portion of Wenceslas Square from the real estate magnate Václav Skala. "BLOX is the type of building that fits in perfectly to our portfolio, mainly its exceptional accessibility both to the center of Prague and to the airports," said CMB's board chairman Radek Stacha. BLOX was completed in 2015 having been designed by the DAM architekti studio. The closing of this transaction brings the total volume of office space in CMN's portfolio to nearly 60,000 sqm. "By the end of 2019, we expect to increase the assets of the holding company, which should exceed CZK 7bn," said Stacha. "At the moment, we're working on the acquisition of further properties whose value is more than CZK 1bn."
